Amazing session last week with Flor Aparicio, a Real Estate Asset Manager, specializing in multifamily real estate. Flor is a part of the renowned Chamberlin + Associates team serving California, Nevada, and Arizona.
She was looking for headshots that showed her personality, strength, and stood out as a personal branding while focusing on her area of expertise: real estate assets like her museum vibe mid-century modern art home. Her home matches Flor, classy and stylish. She is in her element in a beautiful property, ready to take care of clients and get serious work done!
I came by with equipment like large softboxes, my Flashpoint strobes, and Canon cameras with portrait lens and we got some great images in about 30 mins. Flor was fabulously ready with polished hair, professional makeup and a stunning white power suit. There was also an amazing amount of soft, warm, beautiful light glowing in every room that we definitely took advantage of, as well as beautiful lines and art pieces like the commissioned original paintings and an Eames chair for the best portrait accompaniments I have ever seen! I really enjoyed my time at Flor’s home, and just love the portraits we got for her!
Why get branding portraits? What’s the difference between headshots and Personal Branding Environmental Headshots?
Similar to lifestyle photos, environmental branding captures a slice of what is unique to your business. A branding session shows you at work with updated photos that describe who you are and what your business is all about. That’s all an environmental headshot is-a professional portrait that illustrates you in your element -on the job, in the field, with the polished lighting and impact-making value of a professional portrait.
Environmental headshots are a fantastic way to break out of the box and tell the story of your business in a real way. Many successful people use visualization and most people, in general, like to “see” results so that they know they can trust aa person or product. Branding environmental photos are a fantastic way to help people see what you do. Flor is a successful real estate agent, asset manager, and business woman- seeing her take command with warmth and welcome in a gorgeous piece of real estate builds confidence in a prospective client that she is the agent they must have for their project.
A headshot isn’t just a picture of your face. It is a business card showing who you are, your strength, your competence, why your company is different, and why folks should choose your work. An environmental portrait stands out as approachable and interesting in a sea of the same.
Build your brand and bring in new clients with personal branding headshots!
