Great session with Ashley and Jared this month. Fun couple, super relaxed and ready to smile! After a quick 20-minute session including a few outfit changes, they were off to play on a golfing date. Easy, breezy…oh wait that’s someone else’s jingle. Well anyway, Ashley & Jared made it an ideal session!

Now, this good looking power couple didn’t have to worry about taking a bad photo, for most of us however it can cause anything from mild concern to near panic attacks when getting our photograph taken. Regardless of not if there is any truth in the perception that you are “unphotogenic” (seriously- almost everyone tells me this and none of you have been right about it yet!)

The first thing we see in a picture of ourself is a laundry list of perceived faults. I always say, getting your picture made can be VULNERABLE! I want to earn your trust so that you believe me when I say nobody sees what you think is a fault when they look at your portraits (who would want to be around anyone who was looking for the worst anyway?) The first things people see in a headshot is your SMILE, and they don’t care if you think one tooth is a little bigger than the rest. They see in a split second if its a fake smile, and they write off fake overly airbrushed skin even faster. Show your genuine smile and earn their trust. Earn their business with a laugh and smiles that reach the eyes!
